We have a variety of free online resources that students can access whilst remote learning.
Students already have usernames and passwords setup but if you would like to find out more information, then please refer to the information below.
CENTURY
CENTURY is an AI-powered online home learning platform that tailors study materials to the needs of every child for English, Maths and Science at KS3 & KS4.
It instantly identifies gaps in learning and remedies misconception, supporting and stretching your child at a pace that is right for them.
The difference between CENTURY and other systems is that it’s much more individually directed, it’s much more bespoke. This constantly adapting personal pathway is ideal for independent study and can be used in the classroom or for remote learning. Teachers can set the material or let CENTURY do the work.
Parents are able to help your child identify gaps in learning and encourage them to complete nuggets so they are better prepared for lessons.

GCSEPod
At the heart of GCSEPod are videos. Each one is a highly concentrated, 3-5 minute burst of audio-visual learning and specialist subject knowledge for 20+ curriculum areas. Students can use the software to target an area of knowledge they are missing (for an exam) or obtain a good foundation and understanding of the key facts ready for their next lesson.
GCSE Pods are designed for any device and can be watched both in and out of school.
Have experts read and explain everything clearly including all the right facts, quotes, keywords, dates and diagrams on screen. You won’t need to use it for long to feel the impact. Consistent use in brief 10 minute sessions is proven to support achievement right up to A* (0-9).
Help your child reach their potential whilst building their confidence across a range of subjects. GCSEPod is a tool used to learn a new topic together or help them identify their weakest areas and fill their knowledge gaps. Oak National Academy
Oak National Academy provides free video lessons, slides and worksheets to support teachers and pupils to keep learning. Created by teachers in response to coronavirus, the resources are freely available, to complement schools’ own teaching. Lessons cover a broad range of subjects, from reception to year 11. There are no sign-ups or logins required.
Where appropriate parents may want to use Oak's resources to help their children recap, revise or catch up on learning from their school. Each lesson takes around an hour for a pupil to complete. There is a pre-recorded video from a teacher, with slides, as well as quizzes, worksheets and creative activities.
