And finally from the Year 8 team we want to wish our students and their families a very merry Christmas. We will see you all in 2026. pic.twitter.com/8DoT2ST6At— Streetlyyr8 (@streetlyYr8) December 19, 2025

Our meals are freshly prepared on the school premises, with ingredients from recognised catering suppliers, in our modern kitchen. All of our menus adhere to current Government standards for school food, as laid out in “The School Food Plan”. We are committed to producing healthy meals and to cater for the varied tastes and need of our students. We operate a nut free kitchen and are able to cater for or advise on a range of dietary needs.
All our services operate on a biometric payment system. This allows money to be added to a student's account with cash on the day or cheques for a week, month or term. Online payments are accessed with a password and code that allows you to pay not only for school meals but also school trips and events. The biometric system also allows us to “track student eating habits. This information can also help us with dietary advice to assist students to eat a healthy diet. This information is available to parents on request.
Each individual item sold has a price and pupils can then build up their meal to their own value. We have a range of 'meal deals' that will offer better value and provide pupils with a balanced lunch. Pupils in receipt of "free school meals" are not identifiable in the queue as their subsidy is added to the system electronically; this subsidy only applies to our lunchtime service.
Information about FSM criteria and application is available from our Pastoral team.
Pupils are encouraged to stay on site at lunch time.
